A Sequel to Beetlejuice???

Director, Tim Burton of the original ‘Beetlejuice’ has expressed interest in making a sequel to the movie with actor, Michael Keaton and “Dark Shadows” screenwriter, Seth Grahame-Smith.

Burton has also directed “Dark Shadows” which stars Johnny Depp and it opens in theaters this weekend.

The director already has two other films coming out this year starring Depp: Frankenweenie and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter where he played as executive producer.

Grahame-Smith says he is definitely planning on giving a script to Burton this year and that a “Beetlejuice” sequel is a high priority for both Burton and Warner Bros.

He tells MTV News, “I’ve gone and met with Tim Burton about it, I’ve gone and met with Michael Keaton about it. In theory everybody would be open to it if the script is good, so now it’s just my job to make sure the script is good.”
